Beautiful card

I first must give credit to Andrea Walford for this very beautiful card.  I 100% CASEd her card (well, I changed the sentiment).  It's just so gorgeous!  Check it out for yourself:

This card was so easy to make, despite how difficult it looks.  Just a few colors of Stampin' Pastels, and you have a beautiful card.

Pennate Parade card #2

I'm just loving this stamp set and matching punch!  Here is another card I made, (the idea came from Liz Kuhns - my upline's upline), using all of the new In-Colors.

This card makes me smile.  I love all the colors.  I love the pennants.  I love the embossed background (I hope you can see it in this picture).

If you would like to add this stamp set and coordinating punch to your collection, you can check out Pennate Parade stamp set (wood or clear) and the coordinating Petite Pennants Builder Punch.  Just click on the bold words in the previous sentence to get more information on them.

Easter Basket

CASEd from Becky Jensen
This little basket was so easy to make.  It took me all of 15 minutes, from start to finish to make it.  It uses the Two Tags die and the Square Lattice embossing folder.  I love how the embossing folder makes the basket really look like a basket.

RECIPE:

CARD STOCK:  Early Espresso & Whisper White

INK:  Marina Mist, Pretty in Pink, & Early Espresso

STAMPS:  Punch Bunch (2011 SAB) & Forest Friends

TOOLS:  Big Shot, Two Tags die, Square Lattice embossing folder, Scallop Trim border punch,  1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, Paper Snips, Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals,  Ice Circle Rhinestone Brads, & Basic Pearls Jewel Accents

Embedded/Inlaid Embossing

This is the newest, all-the-rage, technique.  I first saw it at the Baltimore Regionals I attended in October.  Unlike everyone else, I just was not WOWed by it.  I didn't like the look, so I never used the technique, until now.

This technique is called by two different names:  Embedded Embossing and Inlaid Embossing.  So if you see either of these names, know that it's the same technique.

To achieve this look, just follow the free mini tutorial I have below:

FREE MINI TUTORIAL:

Design your card in anyway you wish.  Layer card stock.  Just make sure you use adhesive on all the edges of your paper, otherwise it will pull up after it's been embossed (yes, I'm speaking from experience).  Next, use the embossing folder of your choice (here, I've used Square Lattice - the popular embossing folder for this technique), and put the entire completed front of your card in the embossing folder and run it through your Big Shot.  Done!  Embellish as you wish.

     Now, wasn't that easy?

RECIPE:

CARD STOCK:  Crumb Cake, Pretty In Pink, & Very Vanilla

INK:  Pretty In Pink

STAMPS:  Teeny Tiny Wishes & Flight of the Butterfly

TOOLS:  Big Shot, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Butterfly Punch, Modern Label Punch, Word Window Punch
