Open House make-n-takes

     First off, I want to thank those of you who came to my open house.  It was wonderful to see you and spend a little time catching up.  I also want to thank those of you that couldn't come, but who placed an order with me.

     I have not yet done the drawings for my door prizes.  I promise I will announce the winners tomorrow evening.

     A FOND FAREWELL:

     This project was the one we made using items that will be retiring at the end of the month.  The pillow box die and white grosgrain ribbon will be staying with use (YEA!)

TOOLS:  Scallop Oval Punch,  Large Oval Punch, Big Shot, Pillow Box Die, & Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon  *NOTE* All these items are staying.


We filled these cute pillow boxes with M & M's - Yummy!

     A SNEAK PEEK:

     My new core color paper did not come in the package that was delivered Friday evening (talk about cutting it close!).  So, I had to quick change my sneak peek card.

RECIPE:

STAMPS:  Because I Care (a level 1 hostess set in the new catalog)

INKS:  Marina Mist Marker, Pear Pizzaz Marker, Concord Crush Marker, & Cajun Craze

TECHNIQUE USED:  Thumbing

     Everyone who saw the new colors said they loved them.  I love them!  Wait until you see them in person!  If you would like to see the new colors and/or the new catalog, please let me know.  I'd love to share.

     We had a lot of fun making the boxes and cards.  If you weren't able to come to my Open House this time, I hope you are able to come next time.

     Good Morning!

          Today is my open house day.  If you live in the area, stop in, between 9 am and 12 pm.  I am having 2 FREE make-n-takes (one with retiring products and one with up and coming new products), I have older stamps sets for sale (cash or check only, please), AND you will have a sneak peak at the new catalog being release on July 1st.  I briefly looked through it, and it's FABULOUS!

          If you place an order with me, either today (Saturday June 12) or tomorrow (Sunday June 13), I will enter your name into my drawing for a special hand-made prize (a large paper clip with one of my gorgeous flowers on top and a matching RSVP pen).  Now, you need to either call me with your order or email me with your order.  Online orders do not count in this special.  Of course, payment is due at the time of your order.

     How to earn extra chances:

1 ticket  - if your order is between $1 and $25
2 tickets - if your order is between $26 - $50
3 tickets - if your order is between $51 - $75
4 tickets - if your order is between $76 - $100
5 tickets if your order is $101 or more PLUS a free gift (this will be a surprise)

**NOTE**  order totals will be calculated NOT including tax & shipping

Stampin' UP! Fond Farewell Lists

      Well, the BIG day is here!!!!!  I'm SO excited!  I love to get this list and see what will be retiring.  It's exciting and sad.  BUT, think about all the room there will be for all the new goodies.  I can't wait to see the new catalog and all the new things Stampin' UP! will be coming out with.

     In the mean time, do let what you've wanted go forever.  Don't miss out on that stamp set or ink color you've been meaning to get.

BIG day tomorrow!

     If you rest too long tomorrow, June 1, 2010, you could fall asleep where you stop (yes, this is my youngest, sound a sleep on the steps.  Don't ask me how.  I have no idea!)  AND, you don't want to miss the exciting announcement Stampin' Up! will be making tomorrow!

     "Why?"  You ask.  Because tomorrow, Stampin' UP! will be releasing their Fond Farewell list: the list of everything that is retiring from the 2009-2010 Idea Book and Catalog.  What fun!  I get VERY excited when this list comes out.

     I must warn you, there will be a LOT of things on that list.  Everything that has any of the retiring colors in it (and that's a lot).  But don't panic!  Change is good!  If you want to see all the colors that are retiring, please click on the list on the left hand side of my blog.  You can also see the colors that are staying and the new ones that will be here on July 1, 2010.

     Oh what fun!  Fond Farewell!  I can't wait!!!!!!
