Cute Candy Box

I came across this cute little box on a couple of different blogs.  The originator of this box is Brenda Quintana.  Dawn Griffith also did a version of this box.

The minute I saw this little box, I immediately made 10 of them :O)  I gave them to the ladies who attended a workshop I had a couple of weeks ago.  The ladies LOVED them.  They were so quick and easy to make.  Pumping out 10 was no big deal.

Both Brenda and Dawn used DSP on the four sides of the box, but I used Whisper White card stock and stamped it - creating my own DSP.

RECIPE

CARD STOCK:  Whisper White & Tempting Turquoise

INKS:  Tempting Turquoise

STAMPS:  Punch Pals & Tags Til Christmas

Cute Candy Box

Marker Club girls are winding down to the last set of markers and the storage box.  They are so excited, they can't wait to have the complete set.

In April they received the 4th color family of markers and this really cute candy box:

I've seen this little box all over the place and have no idea who's original idea it was.  Whom ever the originator is - THANK YOU for this wonderful idea!  I searched YouTube for a video on how to make this cute candy box.  I watched 3 different videos and combined them to make this one.

Here is a top view of my box:

Each month, when the girls have received their set of markers, I've included a little "thank you".  It's my way of thanking them for choosing me as their Stampin' UP! demonstrator, thanking them for joining my marker club, and something little to show them I appreciate them.

If you would like to be part of a "club", where I can set up a payment plan over a few months, let me know.  I'd be happy to set up another club.

Over the past 3 weeks, I discovered the Stampin' UP! Sizzix die - Box #2.  Let me tell you - I LOVE THIS DIE!!!!!!  First I made the really cute double sided candy box (HERE) CASEd from Angie Kennedy Juda.  Then I made this:

It was so easy to make.  The hardest part was deciding how to decorate the front, (which took me 3 days to decide - too many options).  I hope you like what I came up with.

You can do this for any occasion or holiday, just by changing up the colors and paper, even the stamp set.  I don't have any of the current Valentine's Designer Series Paper, so I used scraps from last year's paper (please don't hold that against me).  I'm so happy with this cute little box.  I can't wait to fill it with candy.

RECIPE:

CARD STOCK:  Real Red, Very Vanilla, Sending Love DSP (retired)

INK:  Early Espresso & Real Red Classic Ink & Stampin' Write Markers

STAMPS:  Got Treats? & I {Heart} Hearts

TOOLS:  Big Shot, Box #2 Die, 1-3/4 x 7/8 Oval Punch, Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon, Mini Library Clips, Crimper, Paper Cutter, Stampin' Sponges, SNAIL Adhesive, Sticky Strip, & Dimensionals

Click HERE to purchase any of these products.

This box could be a class I offer.  If you would like to make this at one of my classes, let me know.  If I have enough interest, I'll hold a class.

Teacher Gifts Stampin' UP! Style

Here is the gift I made for all the teachers this year.  It's the same little box, with hand sanitizer, that I showed you in THESE posts.  This time, I added a gift card pocket to add a gift card.  This gift was a hit this year.  All the teachers LOVED this gift.

This is the gift I made for the crossing guard.  It's a really cute little box filled with Hershey's Kisses.  I put the box in a large treat bag (one that was slightly bigger than the box and handle) and tied it with a holiday ribbon.  The recipient loved it.

I hope you have enjoyed seeing the gifts I made this year.  I really enjoyed making them.

Happy Friday!
