Embossed Christmas Tree Card
I have been trying to figure out how to do this Christmas tree since last Christmas. I got tired of ruining card stock, so I gave up until I stumbled across a video by Tami White. Thank you Tami for sharing how to do this! I'm so excited!
FREE TUTORIAL:
To make the tree, cut come thick card stock or chipboard into the shape and size you want your Christmas tree. Tape it to the outside of your embossing folder. Place your card stock inside the embossing folder. Use Tab 1 (your platform completely closed), then put your embossing folder on the platform, and then a plate. Run it through your Big Shot, and voila! A beautiful tree!
I really like the colors of this card. Some think of them as Christmas colors and other don't. However you see it, you have to admit these colors are very pretty together.
RECIPE:
CARD STOCK: Crumb Cake & Very Vanilla
INK: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, & Champagne Shimmer Paint
STAMPS: Perfect Punches
TOOLS: Big Shot, Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder, Basic Rhinestone Jewel Accents, Sponge Dauber, 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, Ticket Corner Punch, & Dimensionals
I hope you like this card. Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
Happy Tuesday!
