Post-It Note Book

Here is the other Post-It note holder I mentioned in yesterday's post.  This is the one we made at my May Stampin' Nite class.  I thought this would make the perfect Mother's Day gift.

I CASEd this idea from Angie Kennedy Juda.  She has a wonderful tutorial on her site.  It's so simple and quick to make.  I spent more time decorating it than making it.

Here is what the inside looks like:

Regional Roommate Gifts

When in Baltimore for a Stampin' Up! Regional event, I shared a hotel room with 2 of my teammates.  Part of the fun of going to Stampin' Up! events and sharing a hotel room, is the roommate gifts.  It took me a few weeks to decide what to make the ladies.  But once I stumbled upon this cute butterfly box designed by Stampin' Up! demonstrator Brenda Quintana, aka, Qbee.  It goes perfectly with the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die.

Download box template HERE

Here is what was inside this really cute butterfly box:

  • monogrammed corner book mark
  • Tic-Tac holder
  • monogrammed Post-It note holder
  • matching pen (with DSP in the barrel)
A last minute addition, the night before we left, was a scissors fob (aka charm).  I saw this on Pinterest and had to make them.

Made with the small Soda Pop Tops

Since this project used many Stampin' Up! products, and for the sake of space, I won't be providing a recipe on this post.  If you are interested in knowing what I used for any of these projects, please leave a comment.  I'm happy to tell you.

Stampin' UP! Butterfly Clock

This is what I made on my first day of summer vacation:

I got this idea from the May Stampin' Success, a monthly magazine for demonstrators only.  It is full of wonderful ideas, as well as business tips.  This is just one of the many perks for being a Stampin' UP! Demonstrator.  If you are interested in learning more about being a demonstrator, or you would like to peak into the latest Stampin' Success magazine, please contact me.  I'd love to share with you.

The clock in the magazine was made using flowers and the new core colors, (Early Espresso, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, & Daffodil Delight), all available starting July 1st.

My clock uses different colors: Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight, Certainly Celery, Marina Mist, & Pink Pirouette.  I LOVE how these colors look together.

I bought this clock at a big box store for about $5.  My husband took it apart for me - it was REALLY easy!  I took the clock face and used it as a template for my background.  I used the Bigz Beautiful Butterflies die and the Flight of the Butterfly embosslit die for all the butterflies.  I also inked all the edges of the butterflies.  I also added glitter to the embossed part of the larger butterflies.  I used my Cricut, (shshshsh!  Don't tell on me), to cut out the numbers.

RECIPE:

CARD STOCK: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresson, Daffodil Delight, Certainly Celery, Marina Mist, & Pink Pirouette

INK:  Early Espresson, Daffodil Delight, Certainly Celery, Marina Mist, & Pink Pirouette

TOOLS:  Big Shot, Beautiful Butterflies die, the Flight of the Butterfly embosslit die, 1/4" circle punch (retired), 1/2" circle punch, 2-Way Glue, & Dazzling Diamonds glitter

To Be or Not To Be, Mother's Day Card, that is!

I made this card for my demo team swap last month.  We had to use something from the new Summer Mini Catalog.

I used a few items from the new Mini catalog:  the stamp set and the Smooch Spritz.  Both of which I LOVE!  Is this a Mother's Day card?  Is this a spirit-lifting card?  I'll never tell :O)

RECIPE:

CARD STOCK:  Very Vanilla, Melon Mambo, & Kraft (soon to be Crumb Cake-YUMMY!)

INKS:  Soft Suede, Bashful Blue, Melon Mambo, & Sage Shadow

STAMPS: Elements of Style & Sanded

TOOLS:  Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die, Designer Label Punch, Cutter Kit, Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz, Dimensionals, Blender Pen

If you would like more details on this card, or would like to make one, please contact me.  I'd be happy to show you or hold a class, if enough of your are interested.

Happy Sunday!
